#S3E4 - Rasmus Kragh
The Danish mountaineer, Rasmus Kiilerich Krag, is today's guest in Hammers Hule. After an early career as a junior national champion and three years on the junior national orienteering team, Rasmus Krag decided to replace his running shoes with hiking boots. With four years of dedicated work, in 2019 Rasmus Kragh became the first Dane ever to climb the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest, without the use of artificial oxygen. A dangerous journey that has subsequently left Rasmus with a large bill to pay. Join us inside the cave to hear what made extreme sportsman Rasmus risk his life to reach the summit of Everest, and what his next goal will be. You can also hear how he worked through his thoughts and fears on the mountain. Rasmus also talks openly and honestly about the downturn he experienced after reaching the summit. A downfall he had anticipated, but never expected to be on the scale it was.
